One half of alternative hip-hop duo Tebi Rex as well as a solo artist, Matt Ó rooted in rap, R&B and pop. A fluent Irish speaker, he has introduced elements of lyrical storytelling to his modern music – most notably on a reworking of ‘Raglan Road’ and ‘Fear Lasta Lampai’ on the band’s second album, 2021’s It’s Gonna Be Okay. Having toured the record across Ireland, UK and Europe, he is releasing his debut solo EP in the autumn.
